Meet Missy
Hi Cutie! Welcome to my website. I’m SO excited to have you here! My name is Missy Myers aka Miss Juicy Momma and I am a Holistic Health Coach in Phoenix, AZ. I received my Health Coaching Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. My mission is to help my clients’ find confidence in their health, nutrition, and most importantly, THEMSELVES.
Growing up nothing made me happier than going to the grocery store every Sunday with my mom. I loved going down every aisle to see my favorites, new products, and piece together new recipes in my head.
We would cook together for weeknight dinners, holidays, and birthday parties. I loved trying new recipes, getting my hands dirty, and learning cooking techniques from my mom. Even to this day, we ask each other what’s on the menu for dinner and when I am in town, we plan our days around food. Yes, food is always our top priority!
While I was working at my corporate job in 2019, I got sick and started experiencing excruciating pain and debilitating symptoms. I saw numerous doctors that provided me with NO answers. With the help of a friend, I turned to celery juice aka liquid gold and started incorporating vitamins and cutting out gluten. I started seeing changes in my skin, digestive system, and mental health. Clean food is truly medicine to the human body.
During this time, what I was doing professionally didn’t align with my soul. My body experienced signs of anxiety, depression, acne, lack of hunger pains, and excessive weight loss because I was SO stressed. I started going to therapy and I REALLY dived into my purpose. I decided it was time to combine my passions for helping people and food and enroll in my health coach certification program.
After obtaining my health coach certification, I started working at a medical weight loss facility where I helped 100s of clients ages 16-70+ lose anywhere between 5-100+ pounds. I educated clients on food quality, consistency/number of meals, exercise, water, weight metrics, and MORE! I assigned GOALS for them to work on every session, held them accountable, and most of all was their BIGGEST CHEERLEADER. Nothing was more rewarding than my clients gaining their confidence back and LOVING themselves again!
During my time at the medical weight loss facility, I realized America is an expert at marketing trendy “healthy food” and “diets” for a quick and easy fix, which isn’t sustainable. Most of my clients didn’t know how to read a nutrition label or tell if labeled “healthy food” was actually healthy. They didn’t know how to navigate the grocery store, make a balanced plate, cook healthy food that tasted good, or make healthier sweets, etc. Teaching them the how-to-processes and WHY for the items above allowed clients to apply these skills and use them in the future. Yes, weight loss was the goal but it was the knowledge, lifestyle changes, and hard work that got them to the finish line. Today, I am on a MISSION to educate others how to read between the nutrition lines, make and eat REAL, flavorful and delicious food, and ultimately, live a “juice-y” life!
I look forward to crushing goals with you, cutie!
